Overview
The L2 Operation Specialist is responsible for the setup, configuration, and maintenance of the RGS administrator system. They will also handle all second-line escalation of Application RGS issues and problems. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of Casino/Lottery operations experience, as well as strong analytical and communication skills.
Responsibilities
• Owns set up and configuration of the RGS administrator system in particular areas
• Handles all second-line escalation of Application RGS issues and problems
• Work with the L3 team to diagnose highly complex technical issues and work with functional experts to resolve them
• Assists in Customer Service training, quality assessment, and monitoring of RGS inquiries
• Monitor trends and activity within the RGS system with a focus on RGS application, making recommendations for changes where appropriate
• Develops training material and delivers training and coaching to IGT RGS Customers
• Evaluate and recommends RGS System enhancements
Essential skills:
• Heavily analytical with the ability to understand and develop semi-complex reports and analysis
• Able to communicate complex ideas and systems
• Typically, has 1 to 3 years of Casino/Lottery operations experience plus a bias toward analytics and system knowledge
Desirable skill/experience:
• Knowledge/Experience/Understanding of integration processes from the point of implementation/development phases to production roll-out
• Knowledge of desktop/mobile browser debugging is highly desirable
• Knowledge of system networking is highly desirable
• Knowledge of understanding of API (SOAP/REST) data exchange and XML reading is highly desirable
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 1-3 years of Casino/Lottery operations experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with the RGS administrator system
• Knowledge of integration processes, desktop/mobile browser debugging, system networking, and API (SOAP/REST) data exchange and XML reading is desirable
