Job Description

Under the direct supervision of the Manufacturing Manager, the Senior Process Engineer ensures that all Molding processes in the Ahoskie Plant produce components that meet or exceed Amcor customer expectations by performing the following duties.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

  ·     Sign off on first articles and ensure appropriate procedures in place for changeovers and first shots.

  ·     Develop press specific LOTO procedures and train all personnel with LOTO authorization in Molding.

  ·     Oversee daily operations, machine set-ups, troubleshooting and some PMs of the Injection molding machines

  ·     Develop programs for continuous improvement.

  ·     Develop, recommends, and implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product leading to
         reduced scrap.

  ·     Develop or revise standard operation procedures and observe team to ensure compliance with standards and procedures
