Meet the Team:
The Airbus Helicopters Flexrotor Program offers one of the most sophisticated small tactical unmanned aerial systems (STUAS) with vertical take-off and landing (VTOL). It can be used day or night by US and allied forces for a diverse range of intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition and reconnaissance (ISTAR) on land and at sea.

Your Challenges:
Lead and develop manufacturing processes, procedures, and workflows for assembly of mechanical and electrical aerospace products, achieving company goals and vision of the 5S manufacturing environment.
Identify and track risks and issues with manufacturing process quality, consistency, and efficiency; prioritizes, leads and manages resolution of.
Create, release, version control, and maintain manufacturing work instructions.
Implement 5S in design of process, tool sets, part kits, and workstations
Maintain M-BOM, configuration control of, and compliance to engineering design.
Design tools, fixtures, jigs, and work space for efficient, accurate, and repeatable manufacturing assembly and test.
Determine in-process quality inspection equipment and steps required to achieve technical specification.
Conceptualize, design, develop, and fabricate in-process and post-process static and dynamic test equipment for verification of critical to quality features and function.
Participate in design review with design engineering, providing input where applicable to internal manufacturing
Provide training to manufacturing staff on new procedures
Provide manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements.
