Business Associate Service Delivery Manager

Join the Business Banking Governance team responsible for overseeing key functions to ensure the Line of Business meets regulatory expectations and internal policies and standards in support of our 2.5 million + clients across the US, 2500 Business Relationship Managers and 10,000 Small Business Specialists.

Business Banking is dedicated to helping our Small Business Owners as they start, thrive and grow their businesses. Our goal is to provide the right banking products, services and advice across all segments of Small Businesses.  As the Business Associate Service Delivery Manager in Business Banking you will be responsible for oversight to help prevent financial loss, protect the firm’s reputation, detect emerging issues, and react to conditions that could adversely impact the confidentiality, integrity of information or availability of critical operations that affect the firm and our clients.

Job Responsibilities 

• Support BAU activities associated with third party (vendor) engagements as a Service Delivery Manager
• Ensure adherence to firmwide Third Party Oversight standards and other relevant policies
• Gather information on engagements and contracts, as required 
• Document process and procedures effectively 
• Partner closely with Controls and other critical stakeholders to ensure issues are addressed timely 
• Work effectively across all products and business groups in Business Banking 
• Introduce process improvements to increase efficiency 
• Protects the firm by applying sound judgement 
• Be a culture carrier for a diversity, inclusion, and control mindset 

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills 

• 2+ years of relevant experience (Third Party Oversight, Global Supplier Services, Control Management)  
• Experience  identifying issues and resolving the root cause
• Ability to adapt and actively looks for ways to mitigate risk to our clients and the bank
• Appreciation for operational complexities and how they may translate to risk 
• Produces clear and succinct written and verbal communications and knows how to think through and frame messages for different audiences
• Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint and Excel 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills 

• Bachelor’s degree
• Technical understanding of internal controls, operational risks, and infrastructure (such as CORE)    
• Knowledge of Business Banking processes, procedures and business applications
