Responsibilities:
- To design solutions to integrate required components into an existing aircraft infrastructure, primarily through selection of appropriate connectors and creation of harnesses to move power, data, RF, etc.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or other related discipline and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience
- Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
- Practical knowledge of engineering principles and practices
- Experience with Computer Aided Engineering tools (Solidworks, Autodesk Inventor)
- Familiarity working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
- Knowledge of industry-standard mechanical design principles, to include, but not limited to parametric design, model-based definition, material hardware selection, manufacturing, and production processes
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Exposure to simulations through functional and logical models and system analysis
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
- IP Networking configuration and troubleshooting.
- Software programming, Python, HTML5
- RF Communications, configuration and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of tactical datalink hardware is desirable
- Direct experience with US Special Operations/ DOD is desirable.
- Current Network+ certificate is desirable
