Job Description

We’re seeking a talented and proactive Senior Salesforce Administrator to lead the ongoing improvement and optimization of our Salesforce platform through scalable, best-practice solutions. This individual will thrive in a fast-paced environment, leveraging deep platform expertise and strong collaboration skills to translate business needs into powerful, user-friendly tools that drive operational excellence.

This position reports to the Director of Engineering - Core and Communities Platform. You will leverage your expertise in Salesforce while partnering with our Salesforce Architect, focused on managing and enhancing the Salesforce platform to optimize business processes and drive organizational value.

Who you are:

The ideal candidate is a hands-on, outcome-oriented, problem-solving Sr. Salesforce Administrator with extensive experience in acting as team lead for Salesforce Admins - helping to drive designing, building, and supporting solutions within Salesforce that align with APFM’s business goals and needs. Additionally, they demonstrate a strong partnership with product and business partners, ensuring alignment between technological innovation and product development goals.

What you will do:

• Deliver mission-critical projects and solutions deliver platform capabilities end-to-end with high quality
• Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to) Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards, and reports
• Own the communication of any platform changes to end users and stakeholders
• Data management to improve Salesforce data quality, implementing rules and automation as needed
• Get exposure to the partners and customers in different business domains, who will help provide feedback for your product space
• Collaborate with team and peers to design and implement solutions for our business partners, peer review of solutions, and suggest optimization
• Adhere to Salesforce engineering best practices and provide technical mentorship to other Salesforce Administrators as needed
• Technical documentation for solutions delivered and resolved issues
• Work with team leadership to ensure that all project deliverables are on time and high quality

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Salesforce Administrator experience
• User Management – Setting up and managing user accounts, permissions, and roles to ensure proper access control.
• Data Management: Expertise in data loading tools (Data Loader, Data Import Wizard, dataloader.io), deduplication strategies, and cleansing best practices.
• Process Automation – Creating and maintaining automated workflows using tools like Flow and Process Builder to streamline business operations.
• System Maintenance – Keeping Salesforce up to date, troubleshooting issues, and implementing new features to enhance functionality.
• Advanced Salesforce Configuration: Custom objects, fields, page layouts, record types, and validation rules.
• Lightning Experience: Proficiency in Lightning App Builder, Lightning Pages, and Lightning components configuration.
• Flow Builder: Deep expertise in creating and managing complex Salesforce Flows (Record-Triggered, Scheduled, Autolaunched).
