Position Overview:
As the Production Graphics Coordinator- Color Management, you’re a key member of the Graphics Services -Color Management Team, reporting to a Graphics Services Lead. You will contribute to the success of Ball by managing color, production and printing processes, emphasizing quality assurance and operational excellence.
Your Key Areas of Responsibilities Include:
- Administrative Duties: Related the graphics department including pilot production, plate making, color management and proofing for all plants.
- Maintain color management programs outlined by key customers.
- Shipping: Graphic standards to plants and pilot cans to customers.
- 3rd Party Verifications:
- Work vendors/suppliers to ensure quality through 3rd party verification process for all vendor supplied cans.
- Collaborate Cross -Functionally:
- Work with Pre-press, client services and plants to ensure quality throughout.
- Work with internal Ink Team (INX) to confirm customer inks for upcoming pilot runs.
- Work with pilot team to ensure uniformity in the color standards between digital press and pilot press.
- Process pilot approvals/rejections.
- Inventory Management:
- Filing systems management and retention for all graphic standards.
- Inventory management/ordering for printing essentials.
- Computer Proficiency and Email Management:
- Manage a large volume of emails on a daily basis.
- Utilize color management software and tools to accurately read and validate colors.
- Facilitate plant communications to ensure quality production runs.
- Manage graphics orders in the graphics system and maintain daily production logs.
- Customer Service:
- Manage customer relationship pertaining to graphic via email and phone.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Broad training in a related field usually acquired through high school; college or graduate degree level education or work-related experience.
- Minimum 1 year of job related experience in a customer-focused role with working knowledge of graphic principles, practices, terminology and procedures.
- Team player: demonstrated ability to effectively create and maintain a positive teamwork environment.
- Proficiency with common computer software (such as Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience that required meticulous attention to detail and the ability to match graphics (colors, alignment, etc.)
- Excellent work prioritization skills; demonstrated ability to meet schedules and adapt quickly as work priorities change.
- Experience identifying and defining issues and using multiple sources ( Standard Operation Procedures, Innovation and/or defined investigation techniques) to resolve issues.
Compensation & Benefits
- On-Site Work Environment: This position is based in Westminster, CO and requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site 5 days per week. Travel and local commute between Ball locations and other possible non-Ball locations may be require
- Hiring Salary Range: $52,600 - $75,900 (Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
- This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.
