Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Director of Identity and Access Management (IAM) to lead our global IAM strategy and operations. This role is critical to ensuring secure, seamless, and scalable identity solutions across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in IAM technologies, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving enterprise-wide identity programs in complex, cloud-first environments.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

  • Define and execute the enterprise IAM strategy aligned with business objectives, security requirements, and regulatory compliance.
  • Drive modernization initiatives, including Zero Trust, passwordless authentication, and identity governance automation.

Program Ownership:

  • Oversee the design, implementation, and management of IAM platforms, including Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), Privileged Access Management (PAM), and Access Management (SSO/MFA).
  • Lead IAM development efforts integrating the various internal technologies into
  • Ensure IAM solutions integrate seamlessly with cloud (Azure AD, AWS, GCP) and on-prem environments.
  • Manage vendor relationships and evaluate emerging IAM technologies.
  • Lead program meets operational commitment, compliance mandates, and KPI targets.

Risk & Compliance:

  • Establish policies and controls to meet compliance requirements (SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
  • Partner with internal audit and risk teams to ensure IAM processes are auditable and effective.

Team Leadership:

  • Build, lead, coach, and foster a high-performing global IAM team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Collaboration:

  • Partner with Security Architecture, IT, and Product Business Units to enable secure digital transformation.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on identity-related risks and opportunities.

 

 

 

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
  • 15+ years in larg-scale Information Security with proven experience managing scaled enterprise IAM programs in large, complex organizations.

Technical Expertise:

  • Deep knowledge of IAM standards and protocols (SAML, OAuth, OIDC, SCIM).
  • Hands-on experience with leading IAM platforms (Okta, SailPoint, CyberArk, Azure AD)

Leadership Skills:

  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence at all levels.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience implementing Zero Trust and passwordless strategies.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps and CI/CD integration for IAM.
  • Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master’s preferred)

    For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $225,200 - $394,100, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits.
