Product Designer - Global Payment

Our products encompass fundamental payment acquisitions, disbursements, transaction monitoring, risk management, foreign exchange conversion, accounting, reconciliations, BNPL (Buy Now Pay Later), insurance, and more.<br/><br/>About UED<br/>At Global Payment UED, we shape how millions of people around the world pay, borrow, save and manage money across the ByteDance ecosystem.<br/>We are building the next generation of financial experiences for global products including TikTok, TikTok Shop and other ByteDance platforms. Our designers work at the intersection of product strategy, user research, data, AI and craft to solve complex financial challenges across diverse markets.<br/>We're looking for Full-stack Product Designers who think beyond interfaces. You'll define product direction, uncover user insights, leverage AI and data to accelerate decision-making, and create experiences that are intuitive, trusted and scalable for users around the world.<br/><br/>This role will be based onsite at our office and will require a 5-day onsite work arrangement.<br/><br/>Responsibilities<br/>- Drive end-to-end product design from opportunity discovery and strategy through interaction, visual systems and product delivery.<br/>- Transform ambiguous business and user problems into clear product experiences supported by research, data and experimentation.<br/>- Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Research, Data Science and regional market teams to shape product strategy and influence key decisions.<br/>- Apply systems thinking to build scalable design solutions across multiple markets while balancing global consistency with market-specific needs.<br/>- Leverage AI throughout the design process to accelerate research, ideation, prototyping, content creation and design production.<br/>- Use quantitative and qualitative insights to continuously improve user experience, product performance and business outcomes.<br/>- Contribute to and evolve our global payment design system, ensuring high quality and consistency across products.
