Senior Specialist Broker

<p>Responsible for a portfolio of construction clients and prospects with accountability for retention of clients and new business development. Will manage and develop client and WTW relationships and grow a portfolio within the business unit and will be responsible for targeting and converting prospects.</p> <p><strong>The Role</strong></p> <p>• Retain existing book of business, develop, and strengthen client relationships.<br/>• Identify, engage, and integrate delivery of all WTW internal resources to deliver on the client experience<br/>• Provide strategic planning and consulting advice to clients; monitors insurance and risk management needs in collaboration with WTW resource, practice, and industry groups. Recommend appropriate solutions throughout the policy term<br/>• Build and develop market relationships in collaboration with broking and sales<br/>• In collaboration with producers, actively expand existing client relationships and participate in new business prospecting<br/>• Engage with sales and broking to understand marketplace changes<br/>• Help wih the RFP response process, including review, identification, and coordination of line of business groups,<br/>and document ownership<br/>• Design and deliver full client presentations/proposals, client advocacy reports, client service plans and schedules<br/>• Ensure Group policy requirements (legal, regulatory &amp; compliance) are met<br/>• Perform the Broking Role for their portfolio of Clients dealing with New Business,Renewals,Claims and all midterm alterations and queries<br/>• Achieve best client service in an efficient and friendly manner ensuring that all client deadlines are met<br/>• Support and find opportunities to enable growth of the existing client accounts<br/>• Foster beneficial insurer relationships<br/>• Follow company procedures for Renewals, Mid Terms Adjustments and New business<br/>• Maintain Company and regulatory standards/requirements including compliance<br/>• Participate in project work<br/>• Provide technical support to colleagues and help in resolving their client problems<br/>• Build relationships and provide support to a number of different teams across the Regions business</p> <p><strong>The Requirements</strong><br/>• Minimum of 5 years' experience working as Corporate Broker/Client Service Executive or similar role<br/>• Construction insurance experience together with experience of insurance within contracts, especially PFI/PPP<br/>type and Lender requirements for insurance<br/>• Experienced knowledge of insurance and insurance markets globally in order to deal effectively with client needs<br/>• CIP qualified with progression towards MDI/ACII<br/>• Willingness to travel to other locations as required<br/>• Proven track record of delivering high levels of client service<br/>• Good practical knowledge of account development and appropriate tools to achieve this aim<br/>• Experienced knowledge of general insurance markets in order to deal effectively with client and company needs<br/>• Knowledge of WTW products and services<br/>• Some experience in new business sales process<br/>• Skilled at building effective relationships, at all levels, with clients, prospects, associates, insurers and external specialists<br/>• Ability to represent WTW with integrity and credibility<br/>• Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills<br/>• Experience of working with and adhering to processes and systems to support client service delivery</p><p><strong>Equal Opportunity Employer</strong></p><p>WTW are an inclusive employer and welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and abilities.
