Kickserv is a field service management software designed to help small and medium-sized service businesses manage scheduling, dispatching, invoicing, and customer relationships. It offers tools for tracking jobs, managing leads, and automating tasks, making it easier for service teams to streamline their operations. With features like real-time updates and integrations with accounting platforms, Kickserv aims to improve team efficiency and customer satisfaction.

We’re looking for a talented Mid-Level Front-End Developer with experience in React and Next.js to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for building and optimizing user interfaces, contributing to design discussions, and delivering high-quality front-end code. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain responsive, high-quality front-end applications using React and Next.js.
• Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to implement and enhance UI/UX across projects.
• Optimize front-end performance, ensuring applications are fast, accessible.
• Write clean, modular, and reusable code while adhering to industry best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across browsers and devices.
• Participate actively in code reviews, team meetings.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Experience with React and Next.js: Proficiency in building applications with React and/or Next.js, with a solid understanding of core concepts like hooks, server-side rendering, and static site generation.
• HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Expertise: Strong foundational skills in HTML, CSS (including frameworks like Tailwind CSS or Styled Components), and JavaScript/ES6+.
• Responsive Design and Cross-Browser Compatibility: Knowledge of responsive design principles and experience ensuring compatibility across multiple browsers and devices.
• Version Control (Git): Proficient in using Git for version control and collaborative development.
• Problem Solving and Communication: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently, with good written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Familiarity with TypeScript and experience using it in a Next.js environment.
• Knowledge of front-end testing frameworks, such as Jest or Cypress.
• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand) or React Query.

Where: The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.
