Job Summary: As a Process Review Quality Technician, you will support the GTF facility in identifying process risk associated with Disassembly, Assembly, and Test. In this role, you will perform process reviews, a process review is a step-by-step audit of the disassembly/assembly/test operation to identify risk, improvement ideas, and tooling concerns.
This is a Weekend position: Friday – Sunday 6:30am – 7pm
What You Will Do:
- Perform process reviews (audit) of the defined processes
- Document findings and work with Quality Engineer and Production Engineer to improve process
- Ensure work is completed in alignment with Safety, Quality, and Delivery objectives.
- Accurately document work performed and ensure adherence to configuration control and quality requirements.
- Support a team-based environment focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Maintain audit records and manage/track/follow up on associated corrective actions.
- Collect and analyze process data, transform into meaningful information shared with leadership
Qualifications You Must Have:
- HS Diploma or GED
- 2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing facility (aerospace preferred)
Qualifications We Value:
- 3+ years’ experience in in a manufacturing facility (aerospace preferred)
- 4+ years of relevant engine maintenance or overhaul experience
- ISO 9001, AS9100, or AS9110 Auditor certification
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as an effective team member
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma or RTX’s CORE Operating System.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and SAP.
