The Opportunity 

 

Oversight for Product Supply expenses and inventory across several Glanbia Performance Nutrition manufacturing sites and warehouses. This permanent position will report to the Senior Financial Manager - Supply Chain.

 

• Assist Product Supply Finance team with a focus on labor and overhead costs, raw material and packaging costs, and Co-Manufacturing costs (volumes/costs/yields).
• Assist Finance Managers with preparing summaries for the Product Supply leadership team to influence and drive informed decisions.
• Assist in the collection, consolidation and reporting requests for Product Supply Finance activities. Which includes, pulling together monthly and ad-hoc financial presentations.
• Lead the forecast and budget process for Inventory and Warehouse
• Assist in the preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual/ad-hoc financial reports and presentations.
• Analyse variances at the plant level vs. forecast, budget and prior year; identify and understand drivers of volume, rate and mix.  Help keep Product Supply on track to meet financial commitments.
• Preparation and standardization of templates and models.
• Ensure accuracy of balance sheet reconciliations and support audit requests as needed.
• Proactively look for trends, best practices, and opportunities with the network to drive improvements.
• Assist in month end close process including posting journal entries

 

The Skills you will bring to the team 

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent
• 3 years of relevant experience
• Leadership
• Microsoft Excel skills must be good.
• SAP experience is a plus.
• Team player – Will be working with various functional owners at the plants and within Procurement.
• Analytics – Analyze data and recommend actions to improve.
