Role Summary

This position is considered a global position and reports into Pharmaceutical Sciences Operations Quality, Strategic Compliance as part of a team responsible for the management, performance, advancement and oversight of the Quality Management System (QMS) strategy across the global Pharmaceutical Sciences Organization.

The PharmSci Trainer and Continuous Improvement Lead is responsible for the delivery, coordination, and tracking of PharmSci training and CI programs. This strategic role ensures colleagues are trained, qualified, and compliant with GMP, Method 1 (M1), and Pfizer learning standards.

This position delivers instructor-led training (ILT), structured on-the-job training (SOJT), and Train-the-Trainer (TtT) programs, while partnering with manufacturing, quality, and continuous improvement teams to identify training needs, close capability gaps, and support operational excellence.

What You Will Achieve

In this role, you will:

  • Plan, track and deliver M1/Yellow Belt instructor-led training in collaboration with PharmSci training and Global Operational Excellence teams

  • Develop PharmSci M1/Yellow Belt certification requirements in collaboration with Operational Excellence SMEs, Global Process Owners (GPOs) and Local Process Owners (LPOs)

  • Plan, track and perform M1/Yellow Belt certification activities

  • Deliver Pfizer Human Performance (PHP) instructor-led training, including:

    • PHP ILT

    • PHP Document and Design ILT

    • Effective Interview ILT

  • Plan, track and deliver Non-Conformance Management (NCM) and Investigations SOJT, including Train-the-Trainer sessions

  • Plan, track and deliver Laboratory Investigation Record (LIR) SOJT, including Train-the-Trainer sessions.

  • Plan, track and deliver Data Integrity (DI) instructor-led training

  • Schedule, plan, and track training delivery, including training gap analysis and follow-up actions

  • Ensure adequate coverage of qualified SOJT and ILT trainers across departments and global locations

  • Support colleagues in understanding and applying interview skills, Method 1 tools, and investigation practices

  • Partner with site and network stakeholders to ensure training is aligned with business priorities and compliance expectations

  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement through coaching, feedback, and capability building

  • Promote and sustain a strong Quality Culture at all levels within PharmSci and ensure Quality adds value to the business

  • Lead or participate on special projects, teams and internal or external global initiatives as required.

  • May support other training and/or QMS system/local process ownership

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements):

  •  Applicant must have a bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of experience; OR a master's degree with at least 2 years of experience; OR a PhD with 0+ years of experience; OR as associate's degree with 8 years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 10 years of relevant experience

  • Experience working in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
