Sales Executive

What does a successful Sales Executive do at Fiserv? 

Build strategic relationships with senior leaders to acquire new clients across Fiserv’s product and solution offerings. Success requires a proven track record in opening new accounts and driving complex solution sales and revenue growth in the retail (Grocery, ERP, or payments space. Align prospects’ vision and requirements with our solutions portfolio to deliver differentiated customer value. As a strategic advisor, understand the client’s business, goals, strategies, and industry trends.

What you will do:

  • Drive sales of Corporate Segment, driving commerce through a variety of enterprise solutions that will enable the client to increase revenue, decrease the overall spend, drive digital transformation all while securing their ecosystem. This includes products and solutions from across the entire Fiserv ecosystem.  This ecosystem includes payments (both in store and above store), core financial systems, data/analytics, etc. 
  • Delivering new logo and product solutions sales within their assigned verticals (Gaming, Retail, Restaurant, Grocery etc.) and geography.  In addition, the candidate should have the ability to impact the client’s business by differentiating the Fiserv value proposition to our client and prospects. The candidate will be expected to achieve their sales quota.
  • Collaborate with key stake holders including Clients C-Suite executives, Finance/Treasury, HR, Security/Fraud, IT, marketing, and operations.  Candidate will also have deep integration with key internal stakeholders including, product specialist, product management, pricing, compliance, risk.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, articulating the Fiserv value proposition while managing multiple opportunities through various sales stages.
  • Create comprehensive client proposals, including solutions, financial justifications, growth plans, budgets, project timelines, and expected results to secure business with maximum revenue and margin.
  • Build detailed account plans for aspirational clients and new cross-sales opportunities, negotiating pricing and contract terms, and collaborating closely with relationship management.

What you will need to have:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales and/or business development roles with successfully demonstrated performance against quota for multiple years.
  • 5 - 7 years of successful new business generation and solution selling, with a deep understanding of market dynamics, challenges, trends, and operations.
  • 5 – 7 years of experience working in virtual team settings, coordinating resources like account managers, solution consultants, and implementation/service teams to meet client needs.
  • 5 - 7 years of navigating complex, matrix organizations and leading cross-functional initiatives, with a client-focused approach and proven success in enhancing the client experience.
  • 5 - 7 years of executive presence with excellent communication, influence, and negotiation skills, and knowledge of industry processes, compliance, and regulations.
  • Bachelor’s degree or a combination of work, education, and military experience.

What would be great to have:

  • Proven track record in technology software or services sales to large accounts, with a fundamental understanding of solution selling.
  • Familiarity with Fiserv and former First Data product offerings, and the ability to execute the Fiserv Way of Selling, including our Expert Selling Force Management framework.
  • MBA preferred.

Travel Required: Ability to travel approximately 60-80%.

Salary Range

$85,600.00 - $182,200.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in New York and California. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
