P&W Military Engines is seeking a highly analytical, data‑savvy, and financially oriented professional to join the F135 Sustainment Affordability team as a Sustainment Affordability Analyst. This individual will play a key role in the team’s mission to understand the full cost of F135 Program ownership, support the development of the sustainment cost forecasts, and create strategic roadmaps with executable plans that identify, quantify, and implement cost‑reduction opportunities.
The Sustainment Affordability Analyst delivers detailed analytical support for cost assessments and sustainment cost‑modeling solutions. The role requires strong investigative skills, data analytics capability, and the ability to translate complex datasets into insights and recommendations.
What You Will Do:
- Responsibilities include project management , development of data‑driven solutions, and driving recommendations that influence programmatic and financial decisions.
- Investigate and prepare business case analyses for proposed sustainment cost‑reduction initiatives.
- Coordinate multi‑functional teams to develop required inputs for analyses and deliverables.
- Evaluate complex datasets to support data‑driven decision‑making and insight generation.
- Create and implement strategies for automation to enhance process quality, efficiency, and repeatability.
- Support selection, monitoring, and control of sustainment affordability projects. (as applicable)
- Organize data collection and develop contracted government deliverables. (as applicable)
- Provide cost and schedule management support to ensure compliance with Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), and program financial analyses. (as applicable)
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or technical discipline is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of project/program management, general business management, sustainment operations and/or strategic planning experience is required or with an advanced degree and 3 years of the same experience.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Prior CAM experience is a big plus
- Financial analysis or business case experience on major initiatives
- Knowledge of SAP
- Familiarity with Military Engine maintenance activities and concepts
- Understanding of F135 operations & support
- Strong communication, influencing, presentation and data management/analysis skills
- Prior experience with Digital Tools (e.g., PowerBI)
