Responsibilities
We are hiring a Cyber Security Professional (CISSP) - RMF Compliance to work in a remote capacity.
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Professional with Sec+ or CISSP certification. The ideal candidate will thrive in a safe agile development environment, demonstrating a commitment to implementing best practice Risk Management Framework (RMF) compliance activities.
What you’ll do:
- Lead implementation of best practice RMF compliance activities and Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity standards and ensure their integration into the development lifecycle.
- Conduct thorough Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) and Security Requirements Guide (SRG) checks within a mixed environment including Windows, Linux, Databases, and various applications.
- Develop comprehensive Plans of Action and Milestones (POAMs) based on rigorous security assessments.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to prioritize and expedite the remediation of identified security gaps.
- Perform static code/dynamic code analysis on custom code. Familiarity with Burp, Checkmarx, X-Ray, and SonarQube.
- Proactively address and swiftly resolve scan findings from various cutting-edge security tools.
- Work collaboratively with development and operations teams to implement robust and effective solutions.
- Provide critical documentation support for audits, assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
What you’ll need:
- Education: BS/BA with 10 – 12 years’ experience
- Clearance: Active DOD Secret Clearance or higher security clearance
- Certifications (one or more of the following):
- CISSP (preferred), CASP+, Sec+, CEH, CISA, SSCP, GSEC
- Demonstrate a proven track record in cybersecurity, with experience as a cybersecurity analyst, engineer, ISSO, or ISSM.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of RMF, STIG, and other leading-edge security frameworks.
- AWS, Cloud Computing, Windows, Linux (CLI).
- NIST controls related to RMF to support system accreditation. Experience with STIG assessments, ACAS vulnerability scanning & reporting, POA&M management, PPSM, SSP, CONOPS.
- Exhibit a strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices.

Target Salary Range
$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.Apply for this role
