Role Overview:
LRQA continues to achieve significant growth and is therefore looking to appoint an Account Manager to support further expansion in the Great China Region, primarily focusing on Hong Kong and Macau. While the role primarily targets these locations, other geographies may also be considered, depending on existing relationships.
As a member of the account management team, you will be responsible for selling key cybersecurity services, such as offensive security services (e.g., penetration testing and red teaming), Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) services, managed security services, and incident response solutions, along with other relevant cybersecurity solutions. Key industry verticals include, but are not limited to, Financial Services, FinTech, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Technology, and Marine and Offshore.
What You’ll Be Doing in Your Role:
In this role, you will focus on:
- Delivering revenue versus target on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Generating new leads through platforms like LinkedIn and other social media
- Re-engaging old relationships to promote LRQA’s cybersecurity offerings
- Managing and closing new marketing leads generated by LRQA
- Upselling to existing clients to expand their engagement across multiple lines of business
- Consistently building a pipeline of opportunities
- Regularly updating CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics)
- Collaborating closely with other team members
- Undertaking necessary training to excel in the role
- Participating in kick-off and debrief calls with clients
- Working flexibly with LRQA’s global technical team to ensure client satisfaction
Key Skills:
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- Strong experience managing opportunities in CRM platforms, such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics
- Excellent written and verbal English skills
- Negotiation, presentation, and objection-handling skills
- Strong listening and time management abilities
- Prospecting experience
- Ability to deliver client presentations in virtual and face-to-face settings
Qualifications:
- Degree in a relevant field, with proven experience in consultancy or sales, particularly in cybersecurity
- Track record of delivering growth in strategic organizations, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience
- Experience in selling offensive security services, GRC services, managed security services, or incident response solutions is highly preferred
- Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
