Cover Supervisor

Prospero Teaching is looking for Cover Supervisors and Supply Teachers to work in secondary schools across Watford. We offer flexible day-to-day and longer-term opportunities, with an ASAP start. We are looking for reliable candidates who are confident managing classroom behaviour and supporting students in a secondary school setting.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
Location - Watford
Position - Cover Supervisor / Supply Teacher
Type of work - Day-to-day and longer-term supply cover
Start date - ASAP
Duration - Ongoing, with potential for long-term work
Contract type - Temporary
Full time/part time - Full-time and part-time opportunities
Rate of pay - GBP95-GBP110 per day for Cover Supervisors; teacher rates depend on experience and the role
Hours - 8:30am-4:00pm (may vary depending on the school)

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
Previous school experience is desirable
Confident managing classroom behaviour and maintaining discipline
Able to confidently manage a class of secondary school students
Supply Teachers must hold QTS, QTLS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold the Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child workforce DBS certificate registered with the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one
Provide a minimum of two professional references covering the last 24 months
