The Role at a Glance

You will provide a variety of routine and non-routine administrative support functions for assigned teams to ensure service levels and customer expectations are met, including the timely and accurate processing of claim documentation. You will be responsible for processing incoming documentation into applicable claim files

What you'll be doing

  • Supports and promotes change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Delivers highly routine work and provides general information, in accordance with established procedures and guidelines, in a timely manner and meets deadlines appropriately.
  • Performs basic task/transactions related to common programs and services by acquiring core knowledge required for the role. 
  • Meets or exceeds departmental quality and service standards.
  • Works overtime as needed.
  • Performs a variety of highly routine clerical duties, such as photocopying, filing, and data entry.
  • Extracts, uploads, sorts, and compiles records/files; distributes according to department procedures or per request.
  • Completes routine data entry in spreadsheets to log, track, and report work completed by their assigned area.
  • Under close supervision, organizes, prioritizes, and plans work to meet or exceed productivity standard to effectively support business needs.
  • Generates and sends pre-formatted reports and/or letters as needed.
  • Develops and maintains cooperative working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Resolves highly routine issues; escalates issues to management when needed.
  • Carries out duties in compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines. Complies with all company and site policies and procedures.
  • Remains current in profession and industry trends.
  • Makes a positive contribution as demonstrated by: - Making suggestions for improvement - Learning new skills, procedures and processes

What we’re looking for

Must haves:

  • High School or GED

Nice to haves:

  • Demonstrates good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret internal documents such as but not limited to policy and procedures and standard operating procedures.
  • Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Demonstrates ability to evaluate information and the implications of a course of action or solution

 

Level: N1-1 

 

Pay Range: $16.65 - $21.02 

 

Actual base pay could vary based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees.  In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual.  Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
