Our Connected Technology Group (CTG) defines and drives the digital, data and technology strategy for KPMG. We have an important advocacy role for technology in the market and across KPMG, working with our technology leaders to build our market presence. We cultivate collaboration and integrate tech execution across our business, driving a firmwide approach to how we go-to-market and build the capability of our people and attract new talent. 

Your Opportunity

Forming part of the Strategy Growth and Enablement Team this role will play a key role as a Tech Communications Manager by: -

  • Focusing on enabling KPMG employees to optimize a consistent and efficient approach to using Tech as part of their day jobs.
  • We have pockets of leading-edge tech and fantastic hacks for how to optimize such tasks as data management, process automation and smart ways to execute BAU office tasks, however there is an inconsistent approach and awareness of how to adopt this digital mindset.
  • Story telling in a compelling way to get cut through and contribute to changing employees' behaviors to align to a more digital adoption and execution.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills to co-design outputs with KPMG’s Internal Communications team, Business Transformation Change team & the CTG SME’s responsible for the content.
  • Creative and compelling approaches to delivering communications in addition to methodologies for execution that ensures a sustainable outcome is delivered.
  • Experience in working with creative agencies to deliver projects on time and to budget as well as the ability as a sole contributor to write copy and create artefacts that can be published to large and senior audiences.

{Note: This position is a 12-month Fixed-Term Contract available on a full-time or part-time capacity.}

  • 5 years’ experience in administration, marketing or operations role
  • Experience in a corporate organization essential and professional services an advantage
  • A successful history of delivering on time, negotiating / escalating issues if required and comfortable working with people at all levels.
  • Experience in people related field and/or communications.
  • Strong drive and resilience; capability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to manage multiple different tasks and projects through to completion.
  • Ability to take the initiative, forward plan and find pragmatic solutions.
  • Pro-active and results oriented approach.
  • Outstanding attention to detail

Qualifications

We are looking for applicants that have Tertiary qualifications in in Communication, Business, Marketing or similar.
