Ready to make your mark on a new employee experience? This is an exciting time for Verisk as we work to implement a new human capital platform. In partnership with finance, technology, and other business leaders, the human resources team will create new ways of working with a shared central platform. The Talent Management team is looking for a change leader to accelerate the adoption of the new platform. This person will partner with and influence senior sponsors and project partners to lead the change process – from planning to deployment to end-user education and measurement.  The primary stakeholder for this role is the Chief Human Resources Officer.  Join this collaborative team of professionals and bring new ways of working for optimal employee engagement.

About the Day-to-Day Responsibilities of the Role

Leading

  • Partner with the steering committee, project team, and senior stakeholders to monitor and measure the overall effectiveness of change activities, readiness levels, and business outcomes.
  • Shift leaders’ mindsets to embrace new behaviors necessary for success.
  • Find improvements to increase realization, value creation, return on investment, and achievement of results and outcomes.
  • Define and lead the execution of global engagement or culture-building projects. 

Planning

  • Define and socialize realistic metrics and milestones to drive learning, engagement, and value drivers for end users. 
  • Create and manage a living change roadmap and communication plan.
  • Lead organization change assessment to understand change impacts and ways to manage for success. Prepare related deliverables, analyses, and mitigation plans.

Communication & Training 

  • Design, develop, and deliver communications tailored to unique user profiles or audiences.
  • Partner with the Learning team or external partners to design and deliver end-user training.
  • Build a network of change champions to create viral campaigns that lead to awareness, understanding, ownership, and commitment.  

Sustainment

  • Leverage change processes and tools to create a strategy and plan to support the adoption. Actively adjust and maintain a project plan.
  • Over time, monitor change effectiveness against measures of success, and adjust while maintaining communication with stakeholders. 
  • Complete special projects as needed, working closely with business partners.

Qualifications

  • Extensive working knowledge of change management practices, methodologies, and tools—experience with organizational change efforts.
  • Credible understanding of project management for large-scale technology implementations and awareness of tools and principles.
  • Ability to effectively influence, build relationships and give effective feedback, at all levels.
  • Proactive in planning ahead even if working with ambiguity, anticipating risks & dependencies even if outside core remit, focusing on the right priorities demonstrating our values.
  • Able to react to evolving situations at pace, re-evaluating plans or decisions as they develop, and able to identify and respond to interdependencies with other programs.
  • Displays mature and grounded confidence, responding appropriately to criticism and remaining optimistic in the face of obstacles or new, challenging situations.
  • Flexibility and confidence when communicating messages, engaging, or presenting to stakeholders.
  • Exceptional listening and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others.
  • Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges.
  • Must be able to commute to the Jersey City office at least two times per week.
