Senior Platform Architect (Braze)

Job Description:
The Senior Platform Architect leads the design and delivery of Braze platform solutions across client engagements. This role focuses on translating marketing and data requirements into scalable, well-structured technical implementations.
Reporting to the Senior Platform Director, you will work closely with delivery, account, and engineering teams to support onboarding, solution design, and ongoing optimization. This is a hands-on role with a strong emphasis on building and improving platform solutions rather than managing teams.
What You’ll Do
Collaboration & Delivery
Partner with cross-functional teams (account, operations, engineering) to deliver Braze implementations from discovery through launch
Act as a technical point of contact for clients, explaining solutions and tradeoffs in clear, practical terms
Align with stakeholders on priorities, timelines, and technical approach
Support project planning, including scope, timelines, and dependencies
Solution Architecture & Technical Execution
Gather marketing and technical requirements and translate them into clear solution designs
Configure data feeds, platform setup, and campaign workflows within Braze
Troubleshoot data and platform issues using available tools, documentation, and team support
Contribute to project scoping and estimation to support accurate planning
Continuous Improvement
Stay current on Braze platform capabilities and relevant marketing technology trends
Share knowledge and contribute to documentation and best practices
Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, or delivery approaches
Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members when needed
Required Qualifications
3+ years of hands-on experience with the Braze platform
Experience supporting cross-channel marketing (Email, Push, SMS, In-App, or similar)
Experience in a client-facing or consulting environment
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
Working Style
Able to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Comfortable collaborating across teams and working with multiple stakeholders
Approaches problem-solving in a structured, methodical way
Able to manage multiple priorities with support from project or team leads
Nice to Have
Braze certification or similar platform credentials
Experience with additional marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Iterable, Klaviyo)
Familiarity with APIs, data integration, or data warehousing concepts
Experience supporting or mentoring other team members

The annual salary range for this position is $94,000 - $150,000. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
