Riverside Medical Group is currently seeking a full time General Surgeon to join our team at Riverside Smithfield Medical Office Building in Smithfield, Virginia.We are looking for a General Surgeon who will support our commitment to provide the right care, at the right time and to help our patients enhance their well-being and improve their health. The perfect candidate will be driven to promote our Riverside Care Difference which reflects our commitment to quality, safety, and service.
You would join our fellowship trained physicians and their highly qualified team are trained with extensive surgical specialization across clinical specialties and technology innovation with our da Vinci Xi™ Surgical System, expert surgeons and specially trained surgery support staff care for any surgical need. Our dedicated acute care trauma team supports the Peninsula's only Level II Trauma Center at Riverside Regional Medical Center for even the most complex surgical care due to trauma. Exceptional skills and experience are essential in every aspect of surgery, but there’s another side to being a good surgeon – treating people we care for the same way we would those we love. Our specialists work as a coordinated team, each applying their expertise to your particular situation to provide safe, comprehensive surgical care.

- Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
