Job Description
We are currently looking for a seasoned Senior Data Engineer, Operations, to join our growing team. As a part of our Marketing technology team, you will have an extensive experience with implementing a Marketing Campaign. You will have an advanced technical knowledge of marketing concepts including but not limited to campaigns, audiences, SFMC, SQL, data ingestion, marketing use case implementation. Ideal candidate will become SME and functional expert in the area, should have relevant and extensive experience in ETL/ELT, data loads, schemas.
As a Senior Data Engineer, Operations, your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Understand data populations
- Create ad hoc reports
- Create ad hoc marketing populations
- Take ownership of marketing campaigns
- Interface with business & marketing teams
- Send sample queries to Martech team members
- Strong QA of Martech team’s data products
- Define and build data models/ERP diagrams.
- Work on rapid Proof of Concept (POCs), agile and prototype environments
Qualifications
WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or similar field
- 10+ years of relevant experience with at least 5+ years in an implementing Martech organization
- Experience with SFMC and other marketing tools
- Strong SQL technical knowledge
- Good analytics skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work as team player and interface with cross-functional teams
BONUS POINTS FOR:
- Experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), ActionIQ or any other CDP platforms
- Exposure with GCP and Biq Query
- Telecom experience
