Position Summary: The Director of Clinical Services will lead and manage the clinical department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed care. This individual will oversee all clinical operations, supervise clinicians, ensure documentation quality and compliance, and serve as a liaison between residential, medical, and case management departments. Additionally, the Director will contribute to the development and success of the H.O.P.E. Campus, a transformative project aimed at providing comprehensive care for at-risk youth in Cuyahoga County. The candidate will also guide the department towards establishing and enhancing a clinical framework that meets the unique needs of our youth while contributing to an overall sense of belonging for the individuals we serve.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Clinical Operations Management
• Oversee Clinical Operations: Ensure the effective and efficient delivery of clinical services across the department.
• Model of Care Fidelity: Ensure fidelity to the chosen model of care and integrate its principles into all clinical practices.
• Program Development: Develop and implement clinical programs that align with organizational goals and evidence-based practices. Will work with internal staff and community partners to identify other promising practices that will allow our youth to engage in services that fit with who they are and what they need.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate clinical outcomes to ensure high standards of care and continuous improvement.
2. Supervision and Leadership
• Supervise Clinicians: Provide leadership, guidance, and support to clinical staff, including therapists, counselors, and case managers.
• Training and Development: Facilitate ongoing professional development and training for clinical staff in trauma-informed care and evidence based best practices and promising practices that enhance our model of care.
• Performance Management: Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to clinicians.
• Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment that promotes professional growth and excellence in service delivery.
3. Documentation and Compliance
• Ensure Documentation Quality: Oversee the accuracy and completeness of clinical documentation, ensuring it meets organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
• Compliance Monitoring: Ensure compliance with all relevant accreditation, state, and federal regulations, including HIPAA and other confidentiality standards.
• Fidelity Checks: Conduct regular fidelity checks to ensure clinical practices align with the chosen model of care and organizational protocols.
4. Liaison and Coordination
• Interdepartmental Liaison: Serve as a liaison between residential, medical, and case management departments to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for youth.
• Communication: Facilitate clear and consistent communication among departments to support integrated care planning and execution.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other department heads to address challenges, share insights, and develop strategies for improving service delivery.
5. Strategic Planning and Innovation
• Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans that advance the mission and goals of the organization.
• Clinical Innovation: Lead initiatives to introduce new clinical practices, pilot programs, and research partnerships that enhance service delivery and outcomes.
• Program Evaluation: Conduct regular program evaluations to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
6. Project Contribution: H.O.P.E. Campus
• Program Development: Contribute to the development of the H.O.P.E. Campus, a private/public partnership transforming the Cleveland Christian Home into a central location for high-quality care for at-risk youth.
• Collaborative Efforts: Work collaboratively with Cuyahoga County’s Division of Children and Family Services, local and state elected officials, community stakeholders, and project funders.
