Position Specific Description

We're looking for a skilled and motivated Commercial Operations & Strategy Specialist to join our Research team. Your primary responsibility will be collecting, organizing, and presenting data to help us make informed decisions by our originators and leadership team. You will be responsible for using various sources to increase coverage of companies and data factors and converting qualitative information into defined quantitative data points. Additionally, you will be able to leverage your maintained database to derive valuable insights and contribute to projects aimed at enhancing our customer data environment with improved tools and capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Gather, organize, and validate data from diverse sources.
• Convert qualitative information into quantifiable data points.
• Utilize our database to derive new insights and contribute to analytical projects.
• Drive projects forward to enhance our customer data environment.
• Manage and maintain databases for data integrity and accessibility.
• Use market intelligence to identify data gaps and develop strategies.
• Employ modeling techniques to analyze data and uncover trends.

Technical Skills:

• Strong research skills for data gathering and analysis.
• Proficiency in database management for data integrity.
• Experience in market intelligence for strategy development.
• Knowledge of modeling techniques for data analysis.
• Proficiency in data visualization and presentation tools.

Job Overview

The job is responsible for supporting the Origination Team with understanding customer needs, identifying new customers, researching and analyzing public information, and applying business strategies to help make strategic decions. This role develops materials for originators and leaders on market intelligence, customer insights, and strategic direction to support origination needs.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Systematic research and data gathering from company disclosures and reports; processing and managing data outputs
• Maintain proper data management practices to organze collected research 
• Use collected data to drive new analytical tools an methodologies to support the origination team's mission
• Actively seek out potential new sources of data for integration, both internal and external
• Produce thought leadership and/or analytical material for wider team
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• Experience: 3+ years

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree
• Experience: 5+ years
