The tower is responsible for the interpretation of financial and statutory data, the coordination and management of financial and statutory reporting, the management of the P&amp;L and balance sheet delivering solutions that will increase insight and transparency. This role is a part of the Advertising and Promotion Team within the Europe FP&amp;A organization, mainly responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and reporting marketing activities.</p><p></p><p>The role</p><p>This role will act as a key business partner for a Diageo Market by supporting their agenda to deliver performance and by providing them by valuable insight regarding their marketing budgets. Key outcomes of the role are accurate forecasting, successful completion of tasks during financial closures and also being the number one finance business partner of the key partners.</p><p></p><p>Responsibilities</p><ul><li><p>Participate in delivery of monthly management reporting processes (various BPM reports, landing report, risks and opportunities, landing reporting, forecasting,) also support deck preparation for the related review meetings</p></li><li><p>Provide day-to-day financial management of the Profit &amp; Loss by driving financial performance, operational KPIs</p></li><li><p>Act as a primary finance business partner of the key business partners mainly focusing on budget management</p></li><li><p>Actively participate in the activities of the financial closures</p></li><li><p>Take part in the Annual Operating Plan and Strategic Plan preparation and submission</p></li><li><p>Provide the completeness of profit center/market figures and continuously supervise the respective Profit &amp; Loss accounts for any inconsistencies</p></li><li><p>Ensure accurate forecasting based on identified trends in the actuals and information collected from the business.</p></li><li><p>Create different ad-hoc analysis as required</p></li></ul><p></p><p>About you</p><ul><li><p>University or College degree in Finance / Accounting/ Economics/ Business Administration</p></li><li><p>Ideally 3-4 years’ experience in Financial Planning &amp; Analysis, and/or Financial Controlling</p></li><li><p>Basic accounting knowledge</p></li><li><p>Experience with Shared services process activities is an advantage</p></li><li><p>Good communication and business partnering skills with senior partners</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical skills to be able to see and understand the big picture and deliver high level message, offering alternative solutions for issues</p></li><li><p>Proactive approach</p></li><li><p>Proven experience with BW, SAP</p></li><li><p>Proficient English knowledge</p></li><li><p>Strong Excel knowledge</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Benefits of working here</p><ul><li><p>Unique Family Leave opportunity</p></li><li><p>We work without border - you will work with people from all over the world</p></li><li><p>You will deal with world class brand portfolio</p></li><li><p>Wide variety of thematic events, afterwork activities organized by employee communities</p></li><li><p>Product Allowance to purchase company products from the staff shop</p></li><li><p>We won the Fittest Workplace Award, of course we have a Gym</p></li><li><p>Urban legend is true, we do have a Rooftop Bar</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Inclusion &amp; Diversity</p><p>Celebrating our inclusive and diverse culture is core to Diageo’s purpose of “celebrating life every day everywhere”.
