As the Medical Assistant II (MA2) you will play a crucial role in patient care by supporting physicians, nursing, and technical staff. You will take vital signs, update medical histories and prepare patients for examinations. Our MA2 will manage patient flow and set up examination rooms, ensuring efficiency and readiness for appointments. Additionally, you will communicate important clinical information, serve as patient advocates and handle designated clinical care telephone interactions. Rotations to additional imaging locations required.

Salary Range: $23.78 - $31.42/Hourly

Job Qualifications

Please list ALL required licenses/certifications on your application and resume

  • Medical Assistant Diploma/Certificate from a secondary, post-secondary or adult education program – required
  • BLS certificate from American Heart Association or American Red Cross – required
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant within a large healthcare system – preferred
  • Familiarity with EPIC (EHR/EMR system) – preferred
  • Ability to obtain accurate vital signs - required
  • Knowledge of normal and abnormal symptomatology and life-threatening medical problems -required
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals with compassion - required
