Position: Associate Director, Global Cell Therapy, Strategy & Operations

Location: Princeton Pike or Summit, New Jersey

The Associate Director, Global Cell Therapy Organization (CTO), Strategy & Operations (US Performance) will report to and act as a critical partner to the Global CTO Senior Director S&O (CTO S&O Senior Director, CTO and US performance). The Associate Director will be responsible for driving performance of the US and worldwide CTO teams by developing and designing key execution metrics and aligning expectations for pull-through with the US Leadership Team, global Cell Therapy Leadership Team (CTLT) and other functional stakeholders. The individual will identify and pull through US-specific execution improvement opportunities for immediate impact. The role will also support the CTO S&O Senior Director in building external CTO presence including executive account visits and congresses to ensure exceptional customer experience and commercial impact. In addition, the incumbent will support the CTO S&O Senior Director to own management of the Quarterly Earnings readiness process and preparing CTLT members for engagements with investors and analysts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Key partner to the CTO S&O Sr Dir in developing a clear framework, systems and tools to build a performance-centric culture to achieve superior results across WW and US CTO
  • Actively involved under supervision of CTO S&O Sr Dir in establishing a disciplined approach to setting, executing, and measuring success against commercial priorities while designing and implementing systems and tools to track performance at a fast-pace cadence  
  • Consolidate US key metrics in dynamic dashboard, identify US performance executional gaps or hurdles against agreed-upon priorities and provide timely analysis reports
  • Consolidate US performance input into business reviews process for CTO President and BMS CCO monthly business reviews
  • Consolidate US CT input with collaboration of US and WW cross-functional teams into development of BMS quarterly earning call and Investor Relations events documentation
  • Support Sr Director in overseeing planning and execution of US POAs
  • Own coordination and readiness for executive account visits and CT involvement in priority global congresses
  • Identify areas of synergy, best practice, and opportunity for improvement to manage and track performance across US operations  

Qualifications & Experience:

  • BA/BS required. MBA, or other graduate degree strongly preferred
  • 5-8 years combined commercial experience across related disciplines, Global and/or local Marketing, BI&A, or strategic management consulting experiences
  • Deep understanding of US bio-pharma commercial market and dynamics required
  • Relevant experience in Cell Therapy is preferable
  • Demonstrated strong ability to combine strategic thinking skills and commercial operational acumen to identify strategic and/or operational opportunities to drive performance for superior results
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and design, manage or implement multiple projects simultaneously
  • Results driven, with excellent organizational, analytical, and planning skills
  • Concise and impactful oral & written communication skills
