Client Accountant

BarkleyOKRP's finance team is looking for a new Client Accountant to join our team! This is an opportunity to apply your accounting skills in a creative, fast-paced, casual work environment. 

 

JOB DUTIES

• Prepare and distribute client (Production and Media) billing, process invoices and manages day to day billing duties
• Manage revenue recognition for group of clients, make decisions regarding accruals/deferrals monthly
• Manage and update monthly/yearly revenue forecast/budget, meets monthly with agency leaders to review
• Understanding of Client P&L
• Gain a thorough understanding of the client's industry and business
• Contract compliance, review billing terms & make suggestions
• Actively monitors receivables, reaches out to Brand Leaders and/or client to collect on outstanding invoices
• Maintain an efficient and cohesive working relationship with Brand Leadership, respond timely and provide valuable insights into job detail.
• Run time reports and helps Management understand overall project history
• Assist during audit to pull back up and provide documentation
• File and maintain job estimates and contracts (electronic)
• Technically savvy – ability to identify efficiencies within the Accountability software system. (Create and pull miscellaneous reports for Brand Leaders)

 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent experience required
• 3-4 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required
