We are currently hiring an experienced Supervisor of Outbound Operations to join our North Las Vegas team to help us oversee the pick, pack & shipment of orders in our 150,000 sq ft warehouse in our network in Nevada. You'll be part of a team that helps ship over $5 billion e-commerce orders a year.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Hires and trains outbound fulfillment staff.
- Oversees the job assignments and activities of outbound fulfillment staff.
- Collaborates with warehouse managers to provide performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- Assists the Outbound Manager and General Manager in overseeing the daily workflow of the warehouse; schedules and organizes staff to ensure proper staffing of all shifts.
- Assist with the discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities of the Position:
- Assigns team members to activities, ensuring staff coverage meets customer demands and redeploying when necessary to support needs throughout the department.
- Oversee the deployment of daily shipping plans to maximize our ecommerce order output.
- Coordinates, manages, and monitors the workings within assigned fulfillment area.
- Ensures production performance KPI’s are tracked, and overall goals are set, maintained daily, and continuously improved. Understanding, tracking, and improving KPI’s are vital to fulfillment department’s success and the success of ShipHero.
- Connects with other leadership team members on a daily basis to understand any challenges they are facing, elevating issues when necessary.
- Ensures the fulfillment process and system guidelines are followed, and best practices are executed within process flow.
- Tracks staff performance and submits daily reports
- Ensure cross shift communication
- Evaluates the efficiency and productivity of team members by establishing performance standards and objectives and assist the Warehouse Operations Manager with evaluating regular performance appraisals
- Manage production workflow. Utilize multi-warehouse systems to predict and direct workflow. Follow computer control commands to redirect workflow within warehouse systems. Understands how all parts are impacted by decisions to redirect workflow.
- Other duties as required and assigned
- Encourages the team to share ideas and best practices for delivering outstanding customer service and accomplishing important support activities.
- Ensures all work areas are clean, well-organized, and representative of the company’s standards
- Anticipates and plans for high service times (times of the day, week, year, etc.) in advance to minimize the impact felt by the customer Performs additional related duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications:
- EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
- EXPERIENCE:
- At least 3 years of related warehousing experience required.
- 1-2 years supervisory experience required.
- SKILLS:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to write reports using excel spreadsheet, and ability to learn shipHero dashboard.
- Ability to properly understand warehouse management system
- Excellent supervisory and people skills.
- Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
- A sense of urgency and self-motivation.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and solve problems and issues.
- Thorough understanding of applicable federal, state, local, and company safety policies.
Position Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Must be able to lift to 50 pounds at a time.
- Must be able to regularly use hands, and fingers to handle and feel.
- Must be able to walk, stand and reach for extended periods of time/duration of shift.
