Position Overview/Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer who will assist the Cybersecurity team in actively managing the system to provide continuous monitoring of the live cyber environment. The Jr. Cybersecurity Engineer will provide s technical customer service and to help assess security vulnerabilities from either a physical or cyber perspective. Will apply fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on cybersecurity technical tasks.

 

Requirements:

• Ability to demonstrate an understanding in agile and DevSecOps methodologies
• Experienced in software security testing, especially with containerized applications
• Understands physical security threats and countermeasures
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in developing and implementing security into infrastructure, platforms and software
• Experience with red team/blue team security games and analysis
• Solid understanding of live monitoring of cyber environment for potential attacks, vulnerabilities and log analysis
• Developed cybersecurity architecture with the ability to adapt quickly to evolving Requirements
• Hands-on experience in Risk Management Framework (RMF) security assessments

 

Skills/Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently with a cross functional team
• Demonstrated cybersecurity experience with Linux operating systems
• Experience hardening Kubernetes and containers is a plus
• Experience with Cloud (e.g. AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus
• 2+ years experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
• XACTA and EMASS experience is a plus
• Specific knowledge of NIST RMF 800-53 controls is a plus
• CSSP is a plus
• CISSP preferred
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
