AT&T has an opening for a Technical Analysis Project Manager to support the National Security Sector. The Technical Analysis Project Manager supports the Technical Analysis Team (TAT) by reviewing customer requests, ensuring they fit into our network service offerings and have all required information for Operations and Engineering teams to execute and deliver services requested.

Description of Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Technical Analysis Project Manager on the BrS Technical Analysis Team (TAT).
  • Manage Requested Items (RITMs), TAT process and HelpNow (similar to ServiceNow) workflows, internal BrS review boards, primary government customer technical boards, and RITM specific customer technical exchange meetings (TEMs).
  • Work with TAT lead and TAT members to support the BrS Program and government/customer decision making; achieve performance goals; and meet Service Level Objectives (SLO) and Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements.
  • Support the customer’s ecosystem through daily use of RITMs and TAT process workflows and technical review boards to analyze, validate, and help adjudicate customer requirements for Network Support Services (NSS) Direct Implementation (DI) RITMs and Network Connectivity Services (NCS) Complex RITMs.
    • Facilitate coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Establish/maintain interoperability with external service providers for multi-source/multi-service integration.
    • Conduct Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) as appropriate to ensure clarity of RITMs.
    • Provide verbal/written updates, data analysis, detailed briefings, and decisional recommendations.

  • Coordinate the Request For Change (RFC) for RFCs that result in RITMs or for Non-Standard Service Request (NSSR) RITMs.
  • Provide technical expertise and coordinate with network engineers/architects, Tier II/Tier III network operations, Information Assurance team, customers, and other BrS or external project managers (as appropriate) to ensure deliverables fall within contract scope and to ensure RITMs can be adjudicated and serviced.
  • Coordinate the development and execution of Enterprise Firewall/Route Change Requests; DI services to include DNS, IPAM, VPN/data center port provisioning; and other RITMs as required.
  • Coordinate across multiple network service teams to successfully assess network technical requirements.
  • Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements to support total systems solutions.
  • Analyze and study complex system requirements; perform functional analysis.
  • Support tasks requiring the collecting, compiling, evaluating, and publishing of information and statistical data in documents, records, forms, reports, plans, policies, regulations.
  • Maintain correspondence suspense files, records, files for reports, operating procedures, internal memorandums, and composes correspondence.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications: Candidate must have 16 years of experience that can be a combination of work history and education. This equates to a Doctorate and 8 years, master’s and 10 years, bachelor’s and 12 years, associates and 14 years or HS diploma and 16 years.

  • Possess network engineering experience specific to Campus Area and Local Area Networks.
  • Experience should include application of industry standards, developing configurations, and integration of solutions into production environments.
  • Experience working in a team environment within a professional office setting.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention-to-detail and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills and ability to manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of Service Now or similar ITSM, and Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
