Job Description
What You Will Be Doing?
We are looking for a FP&A Senior Analyst. This role will play a key role in the North American region. You will report to the EVP- Group FP&A and will be part of the FP&A team based in Europe but with colleagues and stakeholders across multiple time zones. This role is uniquely positioned to partner with the business to contribute significantly to the strategic planning and growth of the business. This is a varied role in scope, entailing tracking and understanding daily/weekly/monthly financial performance, as well as producing monthly forecasts, reports, and annual budgets.
Main Activities and Responsibilities:
- Manage all FP&A activities in the region for a growing business and entities, including budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning.
- Create strong business partnerships with various functions (Sales, operations, manufacturing…) and with a broad and diverse group of business partners, including C- levels and senior members of management.
- Understand, impact, and influence business decisions through detailed financial analysis.
- Tracking and understanding daily/weekly/monthly financial performance, as well as producing monthly forecasts, reports, and annual budgets
- Monitor the proper execution of operations (Revenue, COGS, OPEX and CAPEX) and propose ways to optimize.
- Identify key business levers, establish cause & effect, perform analyses, and communicate key findings to various stakeholders up-and-down the organization to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
- Build forecast models, support month-end close, and conduct variance analysis.
- Perform monthly business reviews to provide team visibility, facilitate financial projections and provide value-added financial knowledge.
- Prepare accurate cash forecasts and support the Cash Collection department at HQ.
Qualifications
What's Required?
- Bachelor’s degree in finance economics or a related field.
- + 7 years of experience of relevant experience in s FP&A or strategic finance, preferably at high growth, enterprise software, SaaS, or Data & Analytics focused business
- Experience ideally with a combination of finance and operations experience (e.g., FP&A/ corporate finance, management consulting, or other highly analytical roles)
- Ability to understand areas of manufacturing accounting, specifically in cost, planning and analysis (COGS…)
- Analytical Skills: Ability to work independently, think objectively, and interpret meaningful and insightful narratives from both quantitative as well as qualitative data.
- Financial and Business Acumen: Ability to evaluate financial and business indicators and translate as well as distill data into actionable information to drive results.
- Influential: Ability to influence at all levels, including the most senior executives in the company, with a demonstrated aptitude to work effectively within a matrixed team across multiple functional areas and be assertive in driving successful management strategies
- Execution driven: Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of precision and accuracy.
