About the role
<p><span>The Releasing and Forecasting Supply Chain Specialist role is responsible to aid in resolving releasing and/or supply concerns identified by internal team and/or external business users. This position is key to ensuring supply chain releasing processes & systems are maintained & operating as designed for business use. Exposure to cross functional teams outside of Supply Chain for example MLM, Finance, ICT and/or the external supply base, is to be expected. Coordinate with system analysts while supporting executive reporting and/or system data integrity maintenance. </span></p>

<p><span>Specific responsibilities include but not limited to:</span></p>
<ul>
<li><span>Working cross functionally with vehicle Platform & Demand planning teams on timely release program processing for VBASS & CHIERS inclusive of weekend and mid-week release process</span></li>
<li><span>Apply approved assembly plant calendar changes, B/O & J1 updates, actualization, PC1 updates/ changes</span></li>
<li><span>Support/Host Weekly Supplier update call</span></li>
<li><span>Lead and coordinate with Supply Chain ICT to resolve system issues</span></li>
<li><span>Coordinating with releasing/forecasting analysts & ensure KPI reporting & timelines are met as well as maintaining release adjustments</span></li>
<li><span>Supporting supply chain system data integrity as an administrator and user for systems such as CLD/CLS</span></li>
<li><span>Supporting proposals for supply chain system enhancements such as FOG/VBASS/CHIERS/CLD/CLS & supplier disputes via Sirius 2, provide timely feedback to cross functional teams on enhancement feasibility</span></li>
<li><span>Presenting updates to Leadership team and/or program/platform managers as needed </span></li>
<li><span>Critical to this role is an understanding of how parts are released, the associated processes and teams involved</span></li>
<li><span>Candidate must be willing to work cross functionally and hold areas outside of the departmental scope accountable, be an agent of positive change</span></li>
</ul>
<strong><span>Qualifications</span></strong>
<p><strong><span>Basic Qualifications:</span></strong></p>
<ul>
<li><span>Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, ICT, Logistics, Operations Management, or other closely related degree from an accredited program</span></li>
<li><span>Minimum of 8 years of Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Production Planning, Manufacturing, Materials Logistics Management or related experience</span></li>
<li><span>Strong analytical skills</span></li>
<li><span>Ability to think strategically and develop/improve processes</span></li>
<li><span>Self-directed in achieving defined goals</span></li>
</ul>

<p><strong><span>Preferred Qualifications:</span></strong></p>
<ul>
<li><span>Master's degree </span></li>
<li><span>Experience and understanding of STLA’s product configuration, bill of material, forecasting, releasing and purchasing systems</span></li>
<li><span>Strong written and oral communication skills including experience presenting information to large and diverse groups including upwards to Level 1 and 2 Executives</span></li>
<li><span> Strong leadership and interpersonal skills</span></li>
<li><span>Ability to work in a team environment</span></li>
<li><span>Advanced analytical skills</span></li>
<li><span> Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint knowledge</span></li>
