<p><span><strong>Supplier Releasing Manager</strong></span></p>

<p><span>Successful candidates for this position will participate in Director level discussions on issues impacting part availability and Uptime, will work cross-functionally with Production Purchasing Supply Chain/MP&L on constraints impacting service, and work closely with other members of the organization (e.g. Part Releasing & Cataloguing, STA, Service Purchasing, Engineering) to resolve issues impacting a supplier’s ability to support service.</span></p>
<p><span>They will lead a team of 8-10 employees responsible for managing over 400 suppliers with over 35K unique part numbers with an annual inventory buy of $300M. </span></p>
<p><span><strong>This role is a hybrid role located in Lavonia, Michigan. </strong></span></p>
<p><span><strong>In this role, you will be responsible for:</strong></span></p>
<p><span>The Supplier Releasing Manager is responsible for managing the interface between our supply base and the various PS&L/SCM systems (SAP/SNC, MMP, SDS, Super-G), ensuring our suppliers adhere to our established processes and ship to the schedules provided. In addition, the selected candidate will:</span></p>
<ul>
<li><span>Manage a team of supply chain analysts who interface with our suppliers on issues such as behind schedule, backorders, Super-G performance, and Vehicles Off-Road. Provide status updates and report out on issues both inside and outside of Supply Chain</span></li>
<li><span>Oversee Supplier Performance for all suppliers in the assigned department</span></li>
<li><span>Hold reoccurring meetings with high VOR/backorder/behind schedule/poor performing suppliers to obtain promise ship dates at the part level and drive overall supplier improvement and development</span></li>
<li><span>Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement through data analysis </span></li>
<li><span>Ensure MCRP compliance via annual audits and certification</span></li>
<li><span>Escalate supplier issues cross-functionally (e.g. Production/Service Purchasing, Product Analysis, Quality, Engineering, Material Planning & Logistics, etc.)</span></li>
<li><span>Work with MP&L constraints team to ensure current production FCSD requirements are minimally met</span></li>
<li><span>Support Sales & Marketing initiatives and work with Ford/Lincoln dealers, as required.</span></li>
</ul>
<p><span><strong>You’ll have: </strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li><span>BA/BS required, Supply Chain Degree Preferred</span></li>
<li><span>Ability to work with large cross-functional teams and remotely manage a team of analysts</span></li>
<li><span>Strong organizational and administrative skills </span></li>
<li><span>Ability to multi-task, strong problem-solving, conflict management skills</span></li>
<li><span>Outstanding interpersonal, team building, and communication skills</span></li>
<li><span>Knowledge of PS&L systems preferred, primarily SAP SCM</span></li>
<li><span>Ability to travel to work with FBS team, as required</span></li>
</ul>

<li><span>Working knowledge of 8-D process preferred</span></li>
</ul>
