Soft Tech Consulting is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed individual to fill the role of a Senior Cyber Defense Infrastructure Support Specialist for one of our clients. Senior Cyber Defense Infrastructure Support Specialist manages and administers updates for cyber defense applications, performs system administration on these applications and VPN devices, and assists in protecting critical infrastructure. Responsibilities include building and testing hardware, implementing RMF/SA&A requirements, and maintaining documentation.

Responsibilities

• Update rules and signatures for cyber defense applications.
• Administer cyber defense systems and VPN devices.
• Protect critical cyber defense infrastructure.
• Build, configure, and test cyber defense hardware.
• Implement RMF/SA&A requirements and maintain records.

Qualifications

• Requires BSc/BA in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
• Minimum 8 years of related experience

• Experience in system administration and cyber defense

• Knowledge of VPN devices and hardware

• Familiarity with RMF and SA&A requirements.

• Strong analytical and communication skills.

• Excellent communication skills, bot verbal and written.

• Must be able to work independently, with minimal oversight.

Preferred Certifications:

• Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA)

• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Associate
