Job Summary and Purpose:
The Industrial Maintenance Technician I is responsible for assisting the Facilities and Engineering Manager with the maintenance, quality, equipment and utilities in support of the manufacture of biological products consistent with the corporate objectives and external, international, and federal regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities and Key Duties:
· Perform preventive maintenance and structural repairs on non-critical equipment
· Assist in the execution of PMs on critical equipment
· Perform non-scheduled maintenance, on all non-critical equipment, in a timely manner as requested via the CMMS system
· Review and document all repairs, alarms and PM activities according to applicable Standard Operating Procedures
· Accurately complete all necessary documentation
· Assist in the execution of key projects design by the Facilities Engineering department
· Respond to alarms during non-business hours while on call
· Perform duties in accordance with applicable Standard Operating Procedures
· Follows all protocols and procedures as defined by Quality Assurance and Health, Safety and Environmental department directives.
· Additional duties as assigned

Technical / Functional Competencies:
● Use of basic hand and power tools
● Some troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic
● Good communication skills, both written and verbal
● Ability to respond to on call situations (emergencies, alarms etc) as necessary
● Demonstrates a safety and quality first mindset
Qualifications:
Education - High School diploma and minimum of 1 year experience in a maintenance related field within a manufacturing company preferr
