About the role

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11/12) or pay band (DA-04) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional GENERAL BUSINESS INDUSTRIAL SPECIALIST. Examples of specialized experience include: (1) Monitoring contractor research, analysis, design, development, test, or manufacturing operations for an organization; (2) Providing the contractor with clarification on the technical requirements of the contract; (3) Reviewing contractor data, reports, studies, designs, design documentation, tests, and/or equipment to determine conformance with contract technical requirements and to accept the product/service on behalf of the organization; (4) Conducting technical reviews to determine acceptability of changes to contract-required services or equipment and determine the usability of items not meeting the requirements of the contract; (5) Coordinating with and furnishing advice to contracting officers and other program stakeholders on technical matters; (7) Serving on pre-award source selection, and post-award surveys, design reviews, inspection, test review, and performance evaluation teams in support of assigned program; (8) Reviewing contractor invoices and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with organizational processes and procedures; (9) Monitoring available contract funding and rates in support of assigned program; and (10) Communicating, orally and in writing, to assist management in the interpretation and use of data associated with cost and schedule performance along with organizational recommendations on potential cost and schedule mitigation activities.
