Infrastructure Cloud Architect

We are seeking a Cloud Architect that will be responsible for guiding customers to the next frontier on their technological journey by developing their data and analytics plans and strategies.  As a Cloud Architect at Innovative Solutions, you will be a key technical resource, responsible for helping our customers successfully utilize AWS (Amazon Web Services) data tools to grow their businesses and create new revenue streams. You will have a deep understanding of AWS data and analytics services as well as common third-party data and ETL tools. 
*This role has quarterly travel to our Rochester, NY Headquarters  Responsible for: ·       Engage with potential customers to understand their current state and applications and design data and analytics solutions that will meet their requirements. ·       Create and deliver detailed data and analytics plans, including timelines, cost estimates, and detailed technical guidance for the customer. ·       Provide guidance on best practices for using AWS data and analytics services and how they can be integrated with the customer's existing stack. ·       Stay up to date with new AWS services and features and be able to articulate their value to customers. ·       Act as an organizational consultant to customers, guiding them on how cloud-based data and analytics will transform their business. ·       Provide technical guidance to other members of the Innovative Solutions team on data and analytics-related topics. ·       Develop procedures and standards for the AWS Data and Analytics Practice on the Sales Engineering team. ·       Work with the Innovative Product team to refine and create new products for the market.  How you will be successful: ·       Innate ability to understand customer need and pain points ·       Strong aptitude for modern data architecture ·       Having a backbone and strong will to get things done ·       Natural customer obsession and ability to empathize with customer’s business needs ·       Ability to participate in and lead crucial conversations with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders   How you will be measured:  ·       Revenue goal attainment ·       Customer Satisfaction ·       Delivering projects on time and within budget ·       Presentation and customer interaction experience, measured by sales team satisfaction scoring. ·       Continuous learning, measured by attainment of additional AWS certifications.  What experience you need: ·       5+ years of experience in a delivery role at a cloud consulting or cloud managed services provider. ·       Experience using the Amazon Web Services platform. ·       Understanding of core AWS data and analytics services such as RDS, S3, Redshift, Glue, Quicksight, Athena, Kinesis. ·       Understanding of IBM services Watson X, Watson X Assistant, Data Stage preferred
