We are seeking a Senior Program and Executive Support Analyst to support a NASA contract in Greenbelt, MD.
Job Description:
Provide senior-level executive Program support to the GEO Program Division at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center.
Responsibilities:
Executive and Programmatic Support
• Provide high-level support to the GEO Program Division leadership and Chief of Staff in business operations and strategic program activities.
• Develop, edit, and manage administrative communications, professional correspondence, and internal documentation for the Program Office.
• Act as the final checkpoint for all division communications to ensure quality control and compliance with NOAA/NASA standards.
• Coordinate the preparation of executive-level documents, presentations, and briefing materials for NOAA and NASA leadership.
• Support executive reporting, tracking deliverables, and maintaining alignment across GEO program initiatives.
• Perform general business support duties, including procurement coordination, cost planning, and administrative operations.
• Additional duties as identified.
Program Communications and Internal Resources
• Support development and maintenance of internal GEO libraries including brochures, key reports, presentations, and other reference materials.
• Manage online databases and shared repositories to ensure accessibility and version control of programmatic content.
• Assist in the creation and organization of internal program communications, marketing materials, and cross-cutting initiatives.
Engagement
• Coordinate and manage logistics for GEO's presence at external events, including staffing, material preparation, and on-site representation.
• Participate in public engagement activities and staffing of national conferences and exhibits (some travel, evenings, and weekends required).
• Liaise with NOAA and NASA conference organizers to ensure strategic GEO participation in key outreach events.
• Collaborate on digital engagement efforts, including social media, web content, and multimedia campaigns in alignment with NOAA/NASA guidance.
• Support creation and implementation of launch campaigns and production of outreach materials (e.g., factsheets, decals, banners).
• When applicable, serve as a spokesperson for GEO at public or community events.
Requirements:
• Experience as a team lead or supervisor setting goals, overseeing tasks, and reporting to stakeholders and leadership.
• Ability to quickly take action to changing environments and communicate a clear direction to employees and customers with urgency.
• A strong ability to make sound decisions quickly utilizing analysis, experience, and judgment.
• Ability to learn quickly and think critically to create innovative solutions for customer and employee needs.
• Expert knowledge of Office 365 suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams)
• Outstanding proactive customer service with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate customer needs by recognizing areas of opportunity and quickly provide solutions.
• Individual must meet government NAC and citizenship/permanent residency requirements for access to NASA GSFC. Extensive background investigation will be performed as a requirement of the job. Some travel may be required.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and 8-10 years of related professional experience or equivalent in lieu of degree.
