Job Title: Director of Nursing (DON)

Requirements:

• RN license required.
• Management or supervisory experience in a long-term care, post-acute care, restorative or geriatric nursing setting is strongly preferred.
• Current CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of nursing care and services provided to residents.
• Schedules and performs resident rounds to monitor and evaluate the quality and appropriateness of nursing care.
• Develops and implements the written staffing plan and nursing schedule that reflects the needs of the resident population.
