Join e-Power forces and enter a new world of clean mobility ambassadors!</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p align="left"><u>Mission:</u></p> <p align="center"> </p> <ul> <li>The Program Buyer will manage the suppliers within an Extended Enterprise framework supporting the team in accordance with the Purchasing Responsibility Matrix and is responsible for managing the functions of the supply base through a total supply chain view.</li> </ul> <p align="left"> </p> <p align="left"><u>Responsibilities:</u></p> <p align="left"> </p> <ul> <li align="left">Same responsibilities as PB + additional responsibilities below</li> <li align="left">Customer center PB team leader, including mentoring other buyers within the team</li> <li align="left">Lead the activity for the Customer center he is in charge of and prepare the GRs accordingly.</li> <li align="left">Key purchasing expert in assigned subject matter</li> <li align="left">Represent local team as lead Buyer in global development programs</li> <li align="left">Develop formal written program strategies and support tool development and deployment</li> <li align="left">Core team member: proactively manage program time lines and achieve program targets</li> <li align="left">Issue and analyze request for quotations (RFQs) from approved suppliers to support production and pre-production requirements (components, materials, and component tooling) and issue subsequent purchase orders, support the buyers of his/her CC in this task</li> <li align="left">Lead sourcing decisions; optimize price, delivery and payment terms in line with purchasing strategy</li> <li align="left">Facilitate cross-functional meetings (internal and external)</li> </ul> <p align="left"> </p> <p align="left"><u>Activities:</u></p> <p align="left"> </p> <ul> <li>Work with suppliers, program teams, and plants to drive cost reductions</li> <li>Support the program buyers for critical topics</li> <li>Work closely with other functional areas and the manufacturing plants to establish an effective supply base</li> <li>Manage suppliers price changes, debit issues, cost reductions, engineering changes, and key supplier meetings/activities</li> <li>Actively participate in continuous improvement and corrective action activities</li> <li>Prepare correspondence for internal and external purposes</li> <li>Support other department positions and special projects as needed</li> <li>Participates to continuous improvement for jobs, organizations and methodology</li> <li>Other duties as assigned</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p align="left"><u>Personal Background</u></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s Degree required</li> <li>Minimum of  7 years purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><u>Job Technical skills</u></p> <ul> <li>Mentorship - Ensures training and development of other buyers</li> <li>Financial - Contributes to financial performance by being expert in analyzing cost structures/drivers relating to supplier price submissions</li> <li>Negotiation - proven ability to successfully negotiate prices, timing, and terms in support of PO  objectives</li> <li>Leadership skills</li> <li>Meeting facilitator</li> <li>Fully capable of conceptualizing and understanding multiple production processes and related equipment requirements/specifications</li> <li>Manage the supply base through a total supply chain view to optimize material and information flow from the supplier to the point of use</li> <li>Able to understand product description and basic design from blueprints</li> <li>In depth knowledge of fundamental purchasing practices, procedures, and policies</li> <li>Computer proficient in Microsoft Office (Word Excel, PowerPoint), basic ability to navigate Internet and Intranet software packages</li> <li>Ability to maintain working relationships with internal and external customers</li> <li>Ability to work independently and in a team environment both regionally and globally</li> <li>Professional verbal and written communication skills </li> <li>Ability to collect, maintain and analyze data</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Must be able to manage time and determine priorities</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><u>Job Soft skills</u></p> <ul> <li>Must be fle
