Sr Software Systems Development Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Software Systems Development Engineer, designing, developing, and administering cloud computing platforms.
- Support testing of software applications within a CI/CD pipeline as part of a larger system of systems.
- Plan and execute software application testing through live, virtual and constructive environments.
- Develop, integrate, and validate models and data supporting software testing.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other related discipline and typically 8 or more years of relevant experience
Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
- Experience working on or administering cloud computing platforms and technologies such as AWS, S3, AWS NS, Kubernetes, Katka, Nifi, etc.
- Understanding of Computer Aided Engineering tools
- Practical knowledge of engineering principles and practices
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience with containers and orchestration technologies such as Docker
- Experience working on of administering classified cloud computing platforms such as DAF CloudWorks, CloudONE, etc.
- Experience with DoD-focused open architecture specifications like OMS
- Experience with Command and Control Mission Systems
- Masters Degree in Computer Science
- Model Based Systems Engineering experience
- Experience supporting testing of software applications within a CI/CD workflow
