Creative Intern, TikTok (Summer 2024)

The Detroit office of Weber Shandwick has an opportunity for an enthusiastic intern to join our creative team and help us stay ahead of the latest trends on TikTok for one of our largest clients. As a Creative Intern, you’ll discover TikTok trends, pitch fun ideas, write clever scripts, and even help create TikToks for our clients. If you love TikTok and want to turn your passion into a fun and rewarding internship, let’s talk!

 

Responsibilities:

• Scour TikTok for the coolest trends and viral content.
• Research and learn about popular TikTok influencers and creators.
• Pitch ideas that are fresh, exciting and aligned with our brand and audience.
• Write scripts that are witty, engaging and on-trend.
• Collaborate with our team to turn your ideas into TikTok gold.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest TikTok features.
• Prototype TikTok concepts to share with clients.

 

Qualifications:

• You love TikTok and can't stop watching it.
• You have a strong knowledge of TikTok editing tools.
• You’re studying communications, marketing, advertising, or a related field.
• You’re a creative thinker and problem-solver.
• You are a good communicator and have a talent for visual storytelling.
• You love fast-paced environments.

 

Requirements: 

• The ideal candidate must be a college graduate by the start of the internship or have demonstrated transferrable skills
• Must be available to work 40 hours a week starting June 2024
