About the Role:

Franklin Templeton’s Digital Assets Technology group is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Project Manager. The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic initiatives related to tokenization, blockchain integration, and digital asset innovation within the firm’s investment and operational ecosystems. This role requires a unique blend of financial services experience, emerging technology fluency, and disciplined project management. This role is ideal for a seasoned project leader with a passion for emerging technologies and a proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional programs in a fast-paced environment with a changing regulatory landscape.

What are the ongoing responsibilities of the Project Manager?

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the central liaison between executive sponsors and collaborate with technology, product, operations, compliance, and business teams to align project goals with organizational strategy.

  • Strategic Program Management: Define and maintain program roadmaps, milestones, deliverables, and performance metrics.

  • Risk & Issue Management: Work with legal and compliance to ensure adherence to evolving global digital asset and securities regulations and identify project risks and dependencies early, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate critical issues as needed.

  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain project documentation, dashboards, and status reports for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Process Optimization: Continuously improve project workflows, tools, and methodologies to enhance team productivity and delivery outcomes.

What ideal qualifications would help someone be successful?

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or related field;  or 10 years of demonstrated work experience

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in financial services or technology domains.

  • Strong understanding of blockchain technologies, digital assets, and tokenization workflows.

  • Proficiency with Agile/SCRUM methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps).

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP, PMI-ACP, or Scrum Master certification.

  • Knowledge of blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Solana, Aptos).

  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks related to digital assets and financial technology.

  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and CI/CD practices.

  • Background in software development or systems analysis is a plus.
