Location: Onsite 14460 Varsity Brands Way, Farmers Branch TX 75244

Work Schedule: M-F, 8am to 5pm CST; in office 4 days per week

Summary/Objective 

Work closely with the Senior Accountant to ensure all cash is balanced with registrations that are recorded in Salesforce.com and posted to SAP as well as helping to ensure monthly documents are filed in the proper places at the end of each month.

Job Responsibilities

• Balance legacy registration deposits to bank accounts on a daily basis

• Post 4460 and 0855 zero balance account entries to SAP

• Post controlled disbursement account clearings

• Record bank activity for items such as apparel & hotel commission, Showclix admissions, and Varsity All Star credit card deposits

• Save bank statements to monthly folder during period close

• Assist with close responsibilities as well as loading data to Blackline

• Other tasks assigned to employee by manager

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Critical math skills and a proven ability to perform difficult calculations. Strong familiarity with productivity tools such as Microsoft Office Suites. Strong fluency in Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical and data gathering skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently. Ability to multi-task. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Education, Certification and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related fields preferred. Minimum of 2 years’ Experience in accounting, finance, or other relevant experience.

Physical Demands and/or Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment.  Largely a sedentary role with some filing requiring the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending or standing on a stool as necessary.
