Regional Affiliate Manager

We are looking for a compassionate and caring Regional Affiliate Manager to join our team as we continue to grow throughout southwestern Indiana, western Kentucky and southeastern Illinois. This position assists affiliate hospitals with all areas of hospital and medical group operations. Works closely with the local C Suite as well as Deaconess leaders and operational resources to meet affiliate objectives.

Provides leadership, project management and operational support to Regional Affiliate Hospitals.  Is accountable to and works collaboratively with Affiliate executive team.  Develops comprehensive solutions to empower Affiliate leaders with tools and resources to strengthen operational and financial management.  Works collaboratively with Deaconess Business Development, Strategy, COE teams and others to support and guide Affiliate hospitals toward a system approach to operations and care delivery.  

Job Overview

• Provides leadership for Regional Affiliate Hospitals. Ensures the obligations of the management agreement are being met and that Deaconess remains in sound contractual standing.
• Assists Affiliate Hospitals in strategic planning and implementation.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates System initiatives and services.
• Manages Affiliate relationships by working in tandem with the Affiliate leadership team to accomplish established goals and objectives.
• Serves as the Project Manager for assigned projects. Develops project plans, identifies barriers and works to resolve, identifies and communicates risks to timelines or project goals, ensures key milestones are met, works with external vendors, and maintains comprehensive project documentation.  
• Demonstrates active listening and open communication with all internal and external customer groups. Maintains fiscal accountability.
• Represents the system in community activities.
