Job Description
Responsibilities:
1. Starts-up the equipment following approved procedures. Monitors quality of products.
2. Performs machine work following approved procedures and in accordance with QSR, ISO and safety regulations. Records required information in the Batch Control Record (BCR) in a neat and orderly manner.
3. Performs set-up and cleaning of equipment, including the palletizer machine. Maintains equipment
under responsibility in good conditions.
4. Operates manufacturing equipment (labeling/packaging), as required.
5. Prepares the BACTEC pallets, moves them to Warehouse and stores in the Warehouse locations.
6. Notifies Shift Leader or Manufacturing Facilitator of any deviation from normal operation. Assists in troubleshooting and in performing corrective action for equipment malfunction or breakdown.
7. At the packaging area is required to:
a) Maintain own areas, including the Robotic palletizer machines clean and in an orderly manner.
b) Produce BACTEC configurations according with requirements from the Planner.
c) Prepare finished goods by shrink wrapping and placing corner boards.
d) Perform product reconciliation per pallet and proper documentation in appropriate BCR.
e) Identify the finished pallets according with procedures.
f) Move finished product to Warehouse following safety rules and ensuring proper handling of the electric pallet jack and product.
g) Inspect and document inspection of the electrical pallets’ jacks and forklifts equipment prior its use.
h) Operate lifting and moving equipment following safety rules and ensuring proper handling of electric pallet jack and forklift.
i) Move materials for packaging operation from Warehouse to the manufacturing lines (i.e., corrugated cases, wood pallets, and others.), as needed.
8. Records information in appropriate documentation in an orderly and neat fashion. Deals with routine situations with occasional variables that require interpretation.
9. Active participation in Lean Activities.
10. Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirement:
High School Diploma or GED
